Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.96 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open the attached HTML page. The page is nothing special, it just endlessly creates "alert()" dialogs 2. Close the first dialog What is the expected behavior? The dialogs, after the first one, should show a checkbox with text "Prevent this page from creating additional dialogues." What went wrong? None of the dialogs has a checkbox with "Prevent this page from creating additional dialogues." in it Did this work before? Yes Chrome version: 58.0.3029.96 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version:

OK, turns out this is intentional: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=629964 Specifically, the design doc linked there says: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wtV5rmLhbf1OZkbg7crtCt6h1mMtig_ctTQt3BLLEIU/edit "Note that once we turn dialogs into in-page items that do not block the user from closing the tab, we no longer need the “Prevent this page from creating additional dialogs” checkbox." So I retract my bug report
