Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.81 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. open the Dev Tools, go to the Network tab 2. make sure "preserve logs" is checked 3. visit http://matteosistisette.com/test/stupidchrome/devtoolshttpauth/ 4. Enter user "chrome" and password "stupid" What is the expected behavior? You should see two requests logged in DevTools: - one when you enter the URL, with a 401 response - one when you submit the credentials, with a 200 response What went wrong? NOTHING AT ALL is logged. Sometimes, randomly, I have observed a different, yet equally wrong behavior: - when you enter the URL, a request is logged as "(Pending)". - when you submit the credential, that request appears as responded with a 200 response. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 58.0.3029.81 Channel: n/a OS Version: Flash Version: huge pain in the ass

You're unbelievable. Your screencast actually demnostrates that you are reproducing the issue. The request that you highlight by waving your cursor on it is the request for the favicon. No request for the actual page shows up. You left step 3 out of the screencast, but I assume you had opened the network tab before going to the test page, so the first request was not logged either.
