SVG path not closing properly

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/57.0.2987.133 Safari/537.36

Example URL:

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1.Load the above SVG into Chrome.

What is the expected behavior?
The path should be a closed parallelogram.

What went wrong?
The path appears not to be closing properly at the default magnification. There is an unwanted spike projecting out to the right from the top right hand corner.
The problem does not exist at most other magnifications.

Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes

Is it a problem with a plugin? No 

Did this work before? Yes Unknown, I expected this bug to be solved quickly, so didn't bother to report it immediately. I first noticed the problem a few weeks ago.

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 57.0.2987.133  Channel: n/a
OS Version: 10.0

This path has been isolated from a much larger SVG (created in 2012) that can be found at
http://james-ingram.de/tests/ChromeSpikeBug/Study 2c3.1 page 1.svg
The path (a beam) can be seen in its original position at the top right.
I've seen the same problem some other of my SVGs.
 
I've now renamed the large SVG example, removing the spaces from the name.

This seems similar to https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=690144 although that should have been fixed in M57.

I'm not able to reproduce in Chrome 58 which is the current stable version. Could you try upgrading to 58 and seeing if this was fixed?

If you're still able to reproduce in Chrome 58, please visit "about:gpu" and copy&paste that information here.

Status: WontFix (was: Unconfirmed)
Closing per c#5. Probably dupe of  issue 690144 , but since we lack verification of that I'll mark this as WontFix.
This bug still exists after all!
I have the latest version of Chrome (58.0.3029.110 (64-bit)) running on two Windows 10 Pro machines: A desktop computer and a laptop. Windows is up to date on both machines.
The bug manifests itself on the desktop machine, but not on the laptop.
