Unable to reproduce the issue on Windows 8.1 with chrome stable version 58.0.3029.110. Installed and was able to launch chrome. @blpsale: Request you to please try a fresh installation and update us with your observations. Thanks.!

I have done that multiple times. I have to use Firefox now. For the 1st time in all the years that I used Chrome browser, I now have use another browser. Very sad!

Hi we have used both the Chrome/Chrome Canary browsers in parallel with the Enterprise grade McAfee since 2008 and never had a problem until now...
