Cocoa Omnibox search applies URL text coloring to text after switching tabs

Project Member Reported by lgar...@chromium.org, May 4 2017

Issue description

Chrome 60.0.3080.5
OSX 10.12.4

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Visit hstspreload.org
(2) Open a new tab, and type "hsts[tab]" to trigger the omnibox search UI
(3) Paste "label:foo to:lucas@example.com"
(4) Switch to another tab and back

What is the expected result?
The text does not have URL coloring.

What happens instead?
The text appears to be colored using the URL coloring algorithm. (See screenshot, which shows a more plausible GMail case.)
Since the text is not colored before you switch tabs, and is not actually a URL in this case, it should not have URL coloring.

A bisection points to https://crrev.com/2017103002 , which doesn't seem to distinguish the search UI case.

sqpchan@, is it easy to avoid this behaviour in the search UI?
