[MD-Settings] The Hamburger Menu Icon is missing, when the menu is open

Chrome Version: 60.0.3087.0 Canary
OS: MacOS 10.12.4

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) go to MD-Settings
(2) Click on the Hamburger Menu Icon 
(3) 

What is the expected result? What happens instead?
The menu opens, but the Hamburger icon is missing. Not sure, if this is intentional, because it is also not there on the Extension page.
But e.g. on the new YouTube MD-Design page, the icon appears, when the menu is open.

The sidebar does not include a 2nd hamburger menu. This works as designed.
