Screen lock configuration requires password, but password field not in focus |
|||||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: 30.0.3086.0 (ToT) Chrome OS Version: 9514.0.0 Chrome OS Platform: eve Steps To Reproduce: (1) Start settings (2) Click on People->Screen lock Expected Result: Pop up window requesting password has focus on the password field Actual Result: It doesn't have focus the first time, and never has focus when using the touchscreen How frequently does this problem reproduce? Always What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is it? Suboptimal UX, no workaround. Note that it only seems to happen the first time, i.e. after a fresh launch of the Settings window. If it's not the first time, then the password is in focus. Unless you're using the touchscreen to browse the Settings faster, in that case it's never in focus.

This should be handled in https://codereview.chromium.org/2841313002/. Will test the touch screen part.

Previously the password prompt would open on navigation to lock screen page but not focus, if the user used the touch screen and not the mouse.
