LogDog viewer silently drops some log lines.

Project Member Reported by mcgreevy@chromium.org, May 2 2017

Issue description

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Load https://luci-logdog.appspot.com/v/?s=chromium%2Fbb%2Fchromium.fyi%2FWebKit_Linux_-_RandomOrder%2F6035%2F%2B%2Frecipes%2Fsteps%2Fwebkit_layout_tests%2F0%2Fstdout in chrome.
(2) highlight the log text
(3) copy clipboard data to a file:
   xclip -o > /tmp/logdogviewer.txt
(4) fetch the same log via the command line tool:
  logdog cat chromium/bb/chromium.fyi/WebKit_Linux_-_RandomOrder/6035/+/recipes/steps/webkit_layout_tests/0/stdout > /tmp/logdogcat.txt
(5) compare these: diff -us /tmp/logdog{viewer,cat}.txt

(see attached diff)

What is the expected result?
No diff

What happens instead?
lines are dropped in the viewer.

Would 'ya look at that: https://screenshot.googleplex.com/j3MN4ZjP2Am

I will dig deeper into this.
What is that screenshot showing, exactly?

Oh sorry, if you pay attention to the "stream index" numbers, you'll see that 1819 is missing. This corresponds to a section of your diff.

It looks like this is fixed upstream. I have a few pending CLs to land, then I can roll out a new version of the viewer and this should be resolved.

Rolled upstream, looks like it's working now. Thanks again for reporting :)
