Head movement shows black areas after controller click on https://vr.with.in

Project Member Reported by dbbrooks@chromium.org, May 1 2017

Issue description

Chrome Version: 59.0.3071.33
OS: Android (Pixel)
VR Services: 1.5.153389785

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) With daydream headset set to default:
(2) go to https://vr.with.in
(3) press enter vr button
(4) Move head around - content updates correctly
(5) click controller button - top button

What is the expected result? presentation adjusts properly with head movement after controller click.

What happens instead? After controller click, head movement shows black areas on edge of rectangle of content. Content doesn't update to fill space. See screenshot.

works with 59.0.3071.39
For reference, this happens when GVR no longer receives new frames and continues reprojecting the last-received frame, and can be due to various reasons including Javascript errors or (in this case) erroneously pausing VR presentation due to wrong focus handling inside the WebVR implementation.

This is not working again. Chrome: 60.0.3096.5 + Current RC VR Services

This works for me in 60.0.3110.0 and VR Services 1.6.156467194 on a Pixel XL with 7.1.2 N2G470.
