Cronet iOS: Calling [dataTask suspend] has no effect

According to iOS documentation , [dataTask suspend] "should produce no network traffic and is not subject to timeouts". In case of Cronet, calling [dataTask suspend] has no effect on the traffic flow or invocation of the URLSessionDelegate callback functions.
