Links on www.google.com do not display in top right corner

Reported by adrianjg...@gmail.com, May 1 2017

Issue description

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Go to google.com on any android browser
2. Click on the links (grid of 9 dots) top right. The selection highlights but nothing launches
3. This is an error on SGS7. I have tried this on several phones. All have the same issue from today. April 30,2017

What is the expected behavior?
9 dots should unscroll list of google apps. E.g. Drive, News etc.

What went wrong?
No idea.

Did this work before? Yes Yesterday A 7.0

Chrome version: 51.0.2704.106 Channel: stable
OS Version: 7.0
Flash Version:

I just tested 6.0 and 7.0 on a Nexus 6 and SGS6. Also tested IOS 10.3.1 and got the same result, so apparently the Apps grid is not working on mobile devices. Can someone confirm if this behavior is expected?
