It's an iPhone 7 Plus in pristine condition, so it can't be a hardware issue.

What website are you attempting to search for in the browsing history search bar?

What version of Chrome are you using? (see Chrome://version)

Also, are there any crash reports listed when you visit the chrome://crashes page? If so, can you supply the "ServerID" listed for the crash?

The website I'm attempting to search for is Facebook.

The version of Chrome I'm using is the latest version available for the iPhone 7 Plus.
