What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. streaming on amazon prime when using the above flag
2.
3.
What is the expected result?
streaming the bitstream to chromecast
What happens instead of that?
unreliable, chromecast icon will appear in place of video for a few seconds (if at all) as described in the media remoting flag, then the video will reappear in the chrome tab as is the case normally with mirroring. The video stutters and has issues.

Encrypted (EME) video is not supported - so I'm surprised that remoting was attempted at all.

Yes, media remoting should not be triggered when video is encrypted. The reported issue might be caused by bugs during the early developing. Marked this as obsolete. |
