Need to do google-chrome --disable-gpu then enable "Override software rendering list" to make Chrome work.

Issue description
Chrome Version : 58.0.3029.81
OS Version: Xubuntu 16.04

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install Xubuntu 16.04, install Chrome current from PPA using open Radeon driver
2. This problem is identical on my old desktop running HD6950 and my newer desktop with HD7750
What is the expected result?
Chrome should work.
What happens instead of that?
When I open any window (even navigating to chrome://flags) I get either a white screen or a white screen with corrupted parts of the page.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

For clarity, when I disable the blacklist chrome works perfectly and runs everything fine even when using WebGL.

@submitter: does it still happen with a more recent chrome? Curious in particular with the latest dev version (google-chrome-unstable) which has had many changes in the blacklisting logic.
