What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Go into Chrome settings
(2) Go to saved passwords (settings > advanced > passwords and forms > manage passwords 
(3) Go to specific saved password > click three dots > details > click eye icon to reveal password > enter account password to confirm

What is the expected result?
After entering your account password, the password should reveal the characters.

What happens instead?
Password still only shows dots after entering account password.

Password reveal works properly in Chrome Stable 58.0.3029.81. Could potentially be due to the new MD settings UI?

I was also able to reproduce using OSX 10.12.4 on Chrome Canary 60.0.3083.0. Screenshots attached of the behavior using Canary.
