Clicking on HttpCache::Transaction::AddTruncatedFlag shows Defn & Decl but no calls.

Project Member Reported by rdsmith@chromium.org, Apr 28 2017

Issue description

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Go to cs.chromium.org
(2) Search for HttpCache::Transaction::AddTruncatedFlag
(3) Click on the definition in http_cache_transaction.cc
(4) Click on "AddTruncatedFlag" to get the cross references.

What is the expected result?

The call into this function in HttpCache::DoneWithEntry is shown in the XRefs tab.

What happens instead?

Only the definition and declaration are shown.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

Oddly, when I look up HttpCache::DoneWithEntry, there appear to be no active cross reference links in that file.

Sorry for the delay. I have trouble replicating. Are you still seeing this issue?
Nope, I can no longer replicate. Which I guess means the title should be changed to "cross reference availability sometimes flaky on code search"? :-} :-|

Yes, they are currently flaky, most often due to the current Xref latency. The access to recent files is more or less instant while the computation of Xrefs takes hours. We are working on reducing the latency (crbug697786).
