Avoid Virtualized GL Contexts on Mac |
|
Issue descriptionUsing virtualized GL contexts on Mac means that we never delete our GL context. Because of this, any memory leaks (either chrome-caused, or in the driver) are never freed as long as Chrome is running. This finch trial will disable virtualized contexts, which will allow for cleanup when a tab is closed. We should make sure that performance isn't impacted by context switches, and that we see the expected memory reductions. |
