URLs (if applicable): all open url page in new tabs

Steps to reproduce:
(1)opening a new tab
(2) since last chrome update there is now a delay between 1 and 5 seconds before new tab opens. There is also delay of about 1-2 seconds between switching already opened tabs
(3) in previoud version of chrome the new opening or switching was almost instandly

Expected result:
No delay at all between opening new tab or switching between your current tabs

Actual result:
There is way to much delay now. Very anoying to wait for opening a new tab and than go to a bookmarked page. Looks like chrome is now doing a long underwater check of something?? Before he opens a tab.
