Image in canvas gets very dark after resizing

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Go to http://jsfiddle.net/9g9Nv/519/ in Chrome for Android
2. Picture with cubes will be very dark
3. Try changing percentage, if the percentage is small enough (exact value varies from phone to phone), darkness from image disappears

What is the expected behavior?
Prior version 57 this resizing code worked flawlessly. There was no change in light/darkness. Now on Android and only on Android (doesn't appear in desktop version) this error behaviour appears.

What went wrong?
Image gets dark but it shouldn't.

The bug reproduces on stable Chrome but not on the Chromium with the patch for  issue 713632 . I tag this as a duplicate.
