Issue description
UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_4) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/57.0.2987.133 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. in console create orientationchange listener on window
window.addEventListener('orientationchange', function(){console.log('knock knock')})
2. open devTools / sensors
3. change orientation to landscape
What is the expected behavior?
orientationchange get fired ('knock knock' will be logged)
What went wrong?
orientationchange is NOT fired ('knock knock' is NOT logged)
Did this work before? No
Chrome version: 57.0.2987.133 Channel: stable
OS Version: OS X 10.12.4

Tested the issue on Mac-10.12.4 and Windows-7 using chrome version 57.0.2987.133 and stable version 58.0.3029.81 with the steps mentioned in comment#0. Please find the attached screen cast and could you please confirm, is this the issue you are facing? Thanks.

This does only work under mobile emulation now. As soon as desktop enables orientationchange event, this will fix itself. |
