Enter VR does not work on multiple sites

Project Member Reported by dbbrooks@chromium.org, Apr 24 2017

Issue description

Chrome Version: 59.0.3071.24
OS: Android

This doesn't occur in M58.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) With daydream headset as default and webvr flag enabled (Note that it also happens on cardboard)
(2) go to http://zenvr.funktroniclabs.com/30/
(3) press Enter VR button on screen

What is the expected result? DON flow then presentation mode starts.

What happens instead? Nothing, except a msg underneath the button saying "Something went wrong trying to start presenting to your headset."

Summary: Enter VR does not work on multiple sites (was: Enter VR does not work on http://zenvr.funktroniclabs.com/30/)
Adding that similar behavior occurs on https://sketchfab.com/models/83ced347037f47aba8473147d65df074. Hitting enter VR does not launch presentation mode.

And on http://media.tojicode.com/q3bsp/, hitting the VR button does nothing.

So I'm guessing it's the same issue on all these sites.
I can also reproduce with latest canary build 60.03079.0.
Also note that our internal test sites do work.
Another site: pong.wild.plus when you hit Enter Vr, a msg is displayed saying "VR Not Found".
VR Core on my test devices is Production version: 1.4.151195927
#1 and #3 are issue 711776 .

The origin trial is changing between 59 and 60 (a change will be made to merge them to the same soon).

Please specify which Chrome version you are using and which flags are set to figure out if origin trial differences apply.
Or at least they are known to be broken. It's possible they are failing differently/earlier now.
Re #6, I believe the info your're asking for is in #1 :) ? I can add that this works on 58.0.3029.83.
Can we raise the priority for this issue? It blocks partner's websites compatibility testing.

With Chrome 60.0.3096.5 this all sites mentioned here are working except one. Closing this and opening new one for the single remaining site.
