Steps to reproduce the problem:
(GNOME Shell 3.24.0 on Ubuntu 17.04) 
1. Install Extension
2. click Extension > Add new... > From Folder
3. BrowserAction closes as soon as the nautilus popup opens.

What is the expected behavior?
BrowserAction doesn't close.

What went wrong?
The extension's BrowserAction closes before the user gets to choose a file.
