Not sure if this is due to FW update. We'll try repro with an older build with the FW update and confirm if this kernel crash is seen.

In #1 I meant to say "We'll try repro with an older build WITHOUT this FW update"
Owner: harpreet@chromium.org
harpreet: Do you have results from an older firmware now?

If you're not able to reproduce on an older build, please also try testing the old firmware on the new build (to make sure it's really the firmware and not some other problem with the kernel). I've attached the old version of the firmware, which you can drop into any build by replacing /lib/firmware/brcm/brcmfmac4354-sdio.bin and rebooting. The kernel also prints the firmware version it loads during boot, so you can check dmesg | grep brcmfmac to find out.

I'll assign back to you for now, there's unfortunately not much I can do without repro steps, and I haven't been able to reproduce this error in my own testing.

Status: WontFix (was: Untriaged)
1) I am not able to reproduce the issue, on the build and firmware, it was reported on.
2) Old firmware and new build also didn't see any issue.

Below firmware used for testing.
brcmf_c_preinit_dcmds: Firmware version = wl0: Apr 20 2017 11:35:24 version 7.35.79.108 (r611243) FWID 01-aef14abd

brcmfmac: brcmf_c_preinit_dcmds: Firmware version = wl0: Jan 19 2016 11:57:11 version 7.35.79.107 (r611243) FWID 01-be6315f2

Closing this as won't fix. Will reopen, if I see this issue.
