Perhaps which should be a separate bug, but:

Is tab discarding supposed to work for incognito tabs?

I'm finding that it does not. 

Steps to reproduce: 
- open a new tab
- go to chrome://discards and click on "discard" link for an incognito tab.
- chrome://discards tab is replaced with a message saying "Discarding a tab..." 
- upon re-rendering the chrome://discards tab, the usual [Discarded] indicator is not shown next to the incognito tab, and the incognito tab doesn't seem to need a refresh when I bring it forward.

This issue has been Available for over a year. If it's no longer important or seems unlikely to be fixed, please consider closing it out. If it is important, please re-triage the issue.

This regression has been open for half a year. It's not very actionable and the regression has been in all Chrome user's hands for months.
