bot_update step in Chromedriver windows bot is running slow

Project Member Reported by gmanikpure@chromium.org, Apr 24 2017

Issue description

The current Chromedriver windows bot build has been going for 67+ hours. Whereas in previous build cycles, the bot_update step has taken about 2 minutes, and the whole build was completed in 2 hours.

https://build.chromium.org/p/chromium.chromedriver/builders/Win7/builds/20865

From the logs, it seems bot has been frozen at below line:

" ===Running git.bat checkout --force 7a0ea2253643c495276d4f5953871318f706509a (attempt #1)===
In directory: E:\b\build\slave\chromedriver_win7\build\src "

Can someone please look into it?

It looks like build 20865 has been stopped and the next one,
https://build.chromium.org/p/chromium.chromedriver/builders/Win7/builds/20866
got past the bot_update step. Not sure about the cause.
Windows bot is up and running again.

I think we can close the issue, unless anybody wants to find the root cause.
I agree with closing this issue.
