Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.81 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: It's here: https://jsfiddle.net/g55f30j1/4/ The two blades on the close button do not intersect at their center. This seems be related to the button size, because if you set the width and the height of the button to a very high value (250%) it is displayed correctly. What is the expected behavior? The two blades should be crossed perpendicularly by their center What went wrong? I don't know! Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 58.0.3029.81 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.12.3 Flash Version:

Reduced the test case further: https://jsfiddle.net/g55f30j1/26/ This is reproduceable without CSS transitions. Interestingly the "transform: scale(1)" has an effect on the cross position. I suspect snapping to device pixels too early in the layout computations might be causing this.
