What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? There are gaps between the all the video thumbnails and view marks like in the photo that I have sent. This issue appears even on the other pc with chrome. Does it occur on multiple sites: No Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Confirmed Blink and WebKit has the gap, while Gecko doesn't.
It looks like Blink layout is correct and the issue is in the site, or in YUI the site uses.
eae@, could you advice what we can do in this case?
The gap comes from .yt-ui-ellipsis::after, which is for Gecko:
.yt-ui-ellipsis::after {
background-color: inherit;
position: absolute
}
.yt-ui-ellipsis::after {
content: '';
height: 100%;
width: 100%
}
but the site has ".webkit" rule to apply to Blink and WebKit:
.webkit .yt-ui-ellipsis::after {
content: '\00200c';
position: static;
visibility: hidden;
}
Since the .yt-ui-ellipsis::after is in-flow (position: static), we have the gap.
