I've been opening and killing chromium. No navigations, initially started with a clean profile. I eventually hit this error. 

I just let chromium sit for a while, and then I kill it. Repeat.

Linux Version 59.0.3071.29 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)

After further review, it looks like https://codereview.chromium.org/2822223002/ should fix this once merged and deployed. I'll wait for an update.
