Multi-selects do not register selections from selenium with device emulation enabled

Reported by enoksen....@gmail.com, Apr 20 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/602.4.8 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/10.0.3 Safari/602.4.8

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. New Chrome window
2.	Connect to the localhost running the internal app
3.	Toggle device toolbar to enable emulation on iPhone 6 Plus
4. Log into the app and navigate to a multi-select dropdown.
5.	Attempt to select values from the dropdown.

What is the expected behavior?
The selected options are expected to register as being selected.

What went wrong?
When running with Selenium, the desired options appear as if they are selected. The odd thing is that, at the code level, those selected options are not registered as selected. Within selenium, after selecting the options, it registers that those options were indeed selected while they actually are not registered as selected.

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 57.0.2987.133 Channel: n/a
OS Version: OS X 10.11.6
Flash Version: 25.0.0.148

This issue is seen while running an internal app built to run on an iPhone. The automated testing is conducted by running the app on a mac (as a localhost) and connecting to the app through Chrome while setting Chrome up to simulate an iPhone.

The Select class is being used to select options on both single-select and multi-select dropdowns. When the selenium is running against this app and not running in the emulator mode, the multi-select dropdowns are selected successfully.

Can you try to make a reduction for this, e.g. a page that you would be able to attach here?
This project is on an internal app. I am working to see what can be done to get a demo page that can show the issue.

enoksen.andrew@,
Please let us know when you are ready with the demo page. Also, what version of Chromedriver are you using?
