Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_4) AppleWebKit/603.1.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/10.1 Safari/603.1.30 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Launch GoogleChrome 2. Click on the : goto more tools Select Extensions 3. Select get more Extensions 4.Select the Extensions then click add to chrome 5. Needs to block this path too https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions?hl=en-US What is the expected behavior? Needs to come up with a profile that will block students from adding extensions What went wrong? Because of this Students are bypassing the DOE network and we cannot manage them WebStore page: Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: <Copy from: 'about:version'> Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.12.4 Flash Version: Even if you block them locally if the network users had some extensions associated with their account, those extensions will automatically get install when they log in.

You should be able to configure admin policy to both specify which extensions (if any) are allowed, as well as filtering out specific urls. See http://dev.chromium.org/administrators/policy-list-3 for more details. |
