Not reachable site (socialtrade.biz) is displayed as Popular site

Steps to reproduce:
  1.  Freshly install chrome
  2.  Launch chrome.
  3.  Popular sites are displayed.
  4.  Wait for some time (30 to 40 seconds) --> Open New Tab
  5.  One popular site tile is replaced with “Socialtrade Welcome to...”
  6.  Tap on the popular site “Socialtrade Welcome t…”

Observed results:
Notice that “This site can’t be reached” error message is displayed.

Note: 
1. This site is being displayed as Most Popular site for almost 30 days, but it is an invalid URL.
2. On other mobile networks (other than corp networks) also it shows “Site can’t be reached” error

Expected results:
Popular sites should have valid URLs.

Comes from the India list.

Same site would be seen in Android. Configuration is server-side, so not really tied to a milestone.

The site no longer appears in the recent runs. An update on the production version will fix this. I will update the bug once that is done. We have not yet confirmed when this will happen, but considering the current site, I will try to fix this as soon as possible.

Any updates here? Do you already know when we will do the next push of popular sites lists?

We have a scheduled Beta push on Tuesday (May 2nd). We will be able to update the production ones after that (if there is no concern with the update, we will be able to do it same day).

This is no more reproducible on latest chrome stable and beta version 69.0.3497.105 and M70.0.3538.58.
