I put the repro case in http://jsbin.com/fajavohupu/edit?html,js,output and got the screenshot (on Linux), which is attached to this comment. I suppose I'm seeing the expected focus ring, but I'm not completely sure. If you can post your screenshot, it is really appreciated.

The difference in your JSBin is that you have <!DOCTYPE html>. So it is a quirks-mode only issue. ~puking~

Thanks a lot.I got it. It's really cause it because of <!DOCTYPE html>.When i run it on chromium 30 and chromium 33,it works ok. I guess new version of chromium have different implementation about quirks-mode. Thank you very much.

Standalone test case. Still reproduces. It is very odd that quirks mode matters.

Is the issue affecting a specific web site? Given the quirks mode requirement, what happens if you stop using quirks mode on the site?

we have many web sites just like that.In those webs do not have <!DOCTYPE html>,and the web layout complex. when i stop using quirks mode on the site, the contents of web do not have right place. The case comes from i delete redundant code.
