Issue descriptionHi, Thanks for this great update. Is there a way to avoid on the source panel, the file reloading all the time. Many times it causing wrong writing. For many pages that are really boring. In Firefox 52, on the inspector panel you can edit and the result is live without reloading. Thanks. Grégoire

Hi Gredoire Could you elaborate on your scenario? It's not clear what's the problem here.

Hi Lushnikov, Thanks a lot for your message. Whith Workspace enable, when you edit a file in the Source tab, this one reload all the time. Quite often it's occurs in the middle of your writing. If so, your cursor go at the beginning of the file causing bad code. If you have more than 2 tab open, it's worst. Firefox handle this without reload. So I have switched to Firefox. I miss some Chrome features. I teach a lot in web inspector and I really need something more stable in this context. I'm sorry for my english. I hope it's more understandable.

Grégoire, a few more questions: 1. which version of chrome do you use? In any case, check out Chrome Canary to see if the problem is not already fixed. https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/canary.html 2. can you give me an exact step-by-step sequence so that I can repro? 3. can you record a screencast demonstrating your issue?

Hi Lushnikov, Here is an link to a scxeencast I just recorded: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/328300/_a_garder/chrome-canary-file-reload-in-workspace.mov I use the last Canary version. 1. I works on CSS on local file. 2. I add the folder in Workspace 3. I edit the css directly. You will see the file reload all the time. Often, (no here), the browser reload and you writte in the same time... Thanks, Grégoire

Ah, this happens because you work over file:// url. The workspace feature misbehaves in this case - we are aware of this. If you serve your file via a local static server, this issue should not happen.

Hello Lushnikov, Thanks a lot for your support. I will make some tests in local static server and I'll keep inform. Because of this bug, I discover more Firefox dev panel. A feature is really awesome in css. When you enter a class, the dom is scanned and you can use autocomplete for regular selector or descendants ones. Cheers, Grégoire
