Weird Behaviour of chrome browser in android apk

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Please open https://mega.nz/#confirm8H790nFuG6MXa9xqrvIAon0uuk3NoY8conE1Bcsfv6vbd6KsgQgAzCJHlbvFGeBwdmlzaGFsMzI3QGdtYWlsLmNvbQlqYXZhc2NyaXB0OiBhbGVydCgxMSlcXBjSQSjeWYmC in android phone using gmail. it means send this link to gmail via button (OR directly link) and open with chrome.
2. that application will not open.
3. mega.nz://# ........... (this will open). totally weird behavior. (fooled by URL) 
Please find PoC for this.

What is the expected behavior?
It should open proper link as like in other browser.

What went wrong?
I guess Javascript issue. legitimate user not able to open proper url.

Tested the issue on Chrome Stable# 62.0.3202.84 and Chrome Canary# 64.0.3279.0 using Pixel XL (Android 8) and could not reproduce the issue.
@pvishal327 -- Could you please upgrade your Chrome to latest Stable mentioned and let us know the updated behavior.
