Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/57.0.2987.98 Chrome/57.0.2987.98 Safari/537.36 Example URL: Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Search for location on Google Maps 2. Search completes but does not change map 3. Buttons there don't work What is the expected behavior? As before on previous version What went wrong? Map function inoperative. Does it occur on multiple sites: No Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A Did this work before? Yes 53...... Does this work in other browsers? When it loads it is slow and no buttons work. After a search, the right information shows in the bar on the side but not the map. Then if I click on the arrow to make the search results go away, it totally locks up.

Yes, still not working. Won't load map correctly and controls don't work. Still works on another machine with previous version of Chromium though, 54. whatever it was.

I filed a bug against Google Maps, b/63336428, as this seems to be an interaction between Chrome (and your setup on a particular machine) and Google Maps. (Sorry, that bug is google-internal only.) I'll update here when I hear from them. For now, tentatively tagging with WebGL, as I'm wondering if that can be the cause.

Sorry, but it sounds like the maintainers of Chromixium may have taken a bad snapshot of Chrome, or something similar. If you can reproduce this with Chrome Dev Channel on vanilla Ubuntu then please provide the contents about:gpu so we can try to reproduce in house. |
