power manager : Add a metric to track power button use |
||||
Issue descriptionWe'd like to get a better idea of how the power button and its unique cancelling features are used by the population. Let's add a metric to track how often the power button is used to: * power down the system all the way (long press) * lock the system, but not power down (medium press) * not do anything, but prevent accidental strikes (short press)

Can we infer the intent from this metric? Power.PowerButtonDownTime

Yeah, you should be able to get this from the metric that powerd reports right now, I think. If we wanted to report distinct actions from within Chrome, we'd probably also need shut-down-from-lock.
