Sheriffbot-Auto-triage Rule: Unconfirmed bugs which are not updated for a year.

I say Sheriffbot is like a virus/worm that eats through one's bug
database, closing things.

And how is the user to be convinced that filing a new(!) bug again won't
just end up with the same result? (Same for enthusiasm for filing other
bugs too.)

Thanks for your feedback.  Given the volume of incoming issues, it's unfortunately not always possible to respond to/ address all issues. We have been spending a lot of time over the past year cleaning up our backlog so as to better focus our test and engineering teams.  In particular we've significantly increased our focus/ staffing on handling incoming (unconfirmed) bug reports, so hopefully, there should be fewer future cases of auto closures.
