Add metric for how often we keep / lose LCD text on low DPI |
||||||
Issue descriptionOn low DPI, we try to preserve subpixel anti-aliasing as it is a significant improvement in text rendering quality (issue 711312, issue 626200, issue 381840 , etc), but we don't seem to currently track how successful we are. We should add a metric that tracks how often or what proportion of web content is rendered with subpixel text antialiasing so that when making changes to compositing code we can track how this has changed over time. This could be tracked for example, as a percentage of total layer area, to reflect that larger regions are more important than smaller ones.

Yes, the final determination happens on the compositor so it would make sense to track there, which I think means Internals>Compositing?
