Debugger window Source tab - lots of breakpoints and half of it is black

Reported by elol...@gmail.com, Apr 13 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/57.0.2987.133 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open Dev Tools go to Source tab
2. Put a breakpoint
3. Wait until some code hit breakpoint

What is the expected behavior?
Don't display breakpoints that were not defined by developer
Don't display black 'area'

What went wrong?
-Lots of breakpoints that are not defined be developer - it's a glitch and code doesn't stop on them. Also those breakpoints are not listed in Breakpoints section
- Black 'area' displayed acros whole devtool window

Did this work before? Yes 2-3 days ago - not sure what version

Chrome version: 57.0.2987.133 Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version:

We run our app through webpack pack with browsers sync (if this is any help). It was all good until 2-3 days ago when problems started appearing

A weird rendering bug. Could you open devtools on devtools and paste errors messages here if any? To do that, undock devtools and hit Ctrl+Shift+I.

I have attached screenshot, that 'black' rendering issue seems to be happening when hovering over stack trace.

If there is anything else I can do, let me know.

Thanks for gif!
I'm not sure that web platform is so powerful to draw black rects across different components so I prefer to think that it's rendering or/and video driver issue.
Could you remember have your Chrome mentioned necessary update before issue starts to appear or maybe video driver was updated? I just would like to say that last Chrome update for M57 happens 4 weeks ago.

Sorry for delay in response. I was bit busy.

So I'm keeping my Chrome up-to-date all the time. It seems like issue is gone on my machine for now, but I'm seeing same issue on other peoples PCs that are using version of our app with generated bundle. And it doesn't happen on Source tab only, today I've seen it in Network tab, my work colleague was hovering over files names.

I think it's not related to DevTools by itself. Untriaged for further triage by rendering team.

These two seem like the same issue, duping into crbug.com/728619.
Also for reporter: you can start the issue this merged into to get update there.
