Chrome://settings page sometimes does not refresh after switching to a different wireless network

Issue description

Chrome Version: <From about:version: Google Chrome 58.0.3029.68>
Chrome OS Version: <From about:version: Platform 9334.42.0>
Chrome OS Platform: < elm test>
Network info: <WiFi>

Please specify Cr-* of the system to which this bug/feature applies (add
the label below).

Steps To Reproduce:
(1) On chrome://settings page, click on wifi drop down and connect to a different wireless network


Expected Result: Chrome://settings page should reflect the new network, DUT is connected to. 

Actual Result: Chrome://settings continues to show old network, until user manually refreshes the page. 

How frequently does this problem reproduce? (Always, sometimes, hard to
reproduce?)
Sometimes. I have seen this issue couple of times now. 

What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is
it?
Manually refresh needed to check the current wireless network.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screen shot or
log if possible.
