Sound works on some but not all youtube videos and same for other sites

have sound
What happens instead?
no sound, even that the sound bar is working
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
Win 8.1 64 Bits, tried Canary, same problem...everything works perfect on IE

I guess the issue is with Google Chrome that simply decided to stop support some plug-ins........talk about going backwards !!
