Google Cloud Print Driver for Windows Vista - Installer hangs

Issue description

Chrome Version       : 49.0.2623.112 m
URLs (if applicable) : https://tools.google.com/dlpage/cloudprintdriver
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=11816

Other browsers tested: N/A
  Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue: N/A
     Safari:
    Firefox:
         IE:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)Download Google Cloud Printer install file
(2) Run install file, receive error 0x8007047e: The specified program requires a newer version of Windows.
(3) Go to Download XPS Essentials Pack, choose "XPSEP Vista 64 bit.msu"
(4) Run XPS Essentials pack install file, 
popup hangs saying "Windows Update Standalone Installer" Searching for updates... with only button option to select as "Cancel" and which does not close the installer.

What is the expected result? Installs printer driver for Google Cloud printer.  Per website, "Requires Google Chrome and Windows 7, Vista or XP with XPS Essentials Pack".  I have Windows Vista 64-bit Service Pack 2.

What happens instead?  Installer encounters error, XPS pack installer hangs


Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
