Steps to reproduce the problem:
Files containing non-standard JSON (comments, ...) should not have the .json extension but something more appropriate (json5?).
What is the expected behavior?
All JSON files in the tree should contain valid JSON.
What went wrong?
Some JSON files in the tree contain invalid JSON (e.g. with non-standard comments).
