[Lars] external monitor lost its display if playing audio via DingDong on Lenovo ThinkVision 4K

Issue description

Chrome Version: (copy from chrome://version)
OS: (e.g. Win7, OSX 10.9.5, etc...)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Sign in 
(2) Connect Lenovo ThinkVision 4K monitor to the decice via DingDong 
    make sure external display comes up 
(3) Play any audio 

What is the expected result?
External monitor should keep its display 
Audio should play via external monitor 

What happens instead?
External monitor lost its display 
No audio can be heard 

Always reproducible on tLenovo ThinkVision 4K monitor 
External monitor comes up with display if manually selecting Speaker(internal). 

It's not reproducible on Asus PB278Q.

There were no suspicious error messages in the log.
I can not debug further as Lenovo ThinkVision 4K monitor is not available in Taipei.
Does this happen on other monitor model ?
