5-r3 requires app-admin/eselect upgrade to 1.4.5 or newer ( bug 729825 )

https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/526194/

Blocked on errors from x86_64-cros-linux-gnu binutils: as/ar can't load libopcodes/libbfd

I see binutils upgrade to 2.27 in progress ( bug 711461 ), perhaps that will help.

Attempt in:

https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/1163750

Example failing build:

https://cros-goldeneye.corp.google.com/chromeos/healthmonitoring/buildDetails?buildbucketId=8938828293947256464

Fails 9 tests of chromeos-base/autotest. All failures seem to boil down to the same failure to find libbfd:

autotest-0.0.2-r9647: django.core.exceptions.ImproperlyConfigured: Error loading MySQLdb module: libbfd-2.27.0.20170315.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

This bug should probably go to Yunlian unless dburger wants to keep working on it.

dburger@?
By all means, have at it.
