Chrome OS Version: M57 (present for some time before though)
Steps To Reproduce:
(1) Begin recovering a device via USB key.
(2) Press CTRL+ALT+-> (forward arrow, F2) to switch to VT2
(3) Observe minimal log details and message "See the debug log on VT3 for the full output".
(4) Press CTRL+ALT+Refresh (F3) while recovery is still ongoing.
(5) Observe, nothing happens. Screen is not changed
(6) Once recovery finishes and prompts for USB removal to reboot, press CTRL+ALT+Refresh
(7) Observe VT3 output is shown.
Expected Result:
VT3 debug output should be viewable during recovery process (step 4 and 5)
Actual Result:
It's impossible to switch to VT3 while the recovery is ongoing.
How frequently does this problem reproduce? (Always, sometimes, hard to
reproduce?)
What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is
it?
