Overwriting window.onbeforeunload dialog message is supported till which version of chrome?

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/57.0.2987.110 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. go to any site with form 2. try to change URL without saving or submitting the form 3. browser throw a dialog with a default message and stay and leave button, we need to overwrite this message, but it's not happening in chrome version 57. What is the expected behavior? In our application it is a requirement to overwrite this default message. What went wrong? Message is not being overwritten using window.onbeforeunload function Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 57.0.2987.110 Channel: n/a OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: overwriting this default message in the onbeforeunload dialog supports in IE and earlier version of chrome. Need to know till which version of chrome the same is supported.
