Crashing on Open after latest update

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/57.0.2987.133 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open newest version of Canary
2. 
3. 

What is the expected behavior?
Browser loads

What went wrong?
Crashes on open

Did this work before? Yes Can't remember the version

Chrome version: 59.0.3063.0 (3063.0)  Channel: canary
OS Version: OS X 10.12.3
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 25.0 r0

This looks similar to Issue 708534 which has been duped into pretty big crasher on canary  Issue 708468 .

Suspected CL is reverted and canary should return to normal on 59.0.3064.0.

Same here.

It seems to be the new tab page.

I can consistently avoid it by loading e.g. this page, before the new tab page loads.

Chrome Version: 59.0.3063.0 canary (64-bit)
OS Version: Windows NT 10.0.14393 (Pro 64-bit)
