As explained to lindsayw@ in an e-mail, I am moving these bugs to our TODO list, and reducing some unnecessary noise they cause.

This is working on desktop and hence likely to be fixed once we start sharing desktop heuristics with iOS code.

I've checked it, and username/password were filled. It could be that Paypal sign-in page was changed. linds...@ Could you please check whether it works for you now?

This still does not autofill for me on M61. Please see screen shots: Email is offered for autofill: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0By4O1f2IQqQ_SXBuaHBtNkttdHc/view However, password is never offered: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0By4O1f2IQqQ_dnR2WFY5U1BEUGc/view Android works just fine: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0By4O1f2IQqQ_Y0dFN2xodTVOZkE/view

linds...@ Could you please check in M-62 whether it works for you now? If credentials are not filled automatically, could you please click on a username field and type a first letter of a username, is Chrome proposing to fill credentials? (short explanation about clicking on field: I've implemented in M-62 additional processing when the user clicks on a field, Chrome tries to fill credentials again).

I checked on canary 63.0.3207.0 and while neither field is autofilled, now if I tap on the username field the username is offered in the soft keyboard toolbar. However, when I tap on the password field nothing is still offered for autofill.

Did you mean that when you chose username from keyboard toolbar, then username is autofilled but the password field is not? Filling by click on a password field is not implemented in Bling (it's kind of fallback from other platforms). I have no idea why it doesn't work, for me it works. We will need to introduce logging in Password Manager on IOS (like on other platforms) then it would be possible to detect a culprit.

I meant that sometimes when you load a login page, both the username and password will be filled into the fields without having to tap anything. That is not happening here. However, if I tap on each field: - username field - tapped here and the username is offered in the soft keyboard toolbar. If I tap that suggestion in the soft keyboard toolbar, it fills the value into the username field. This has no effect on the password field at all, it remains empty after the username is filled in. It would seem this is a autofill form suggestion then, not a username/password suggestion. - password field - tapped on the password field and nothing is offered in the soft keyboard toolbar.

It looks that US and Europe versions of sign-in form are different. I've managed to find what's the problem. There are invisible fields in the sign-in form, which is autofilled by Chrome. On Android and Desktop ignoring invisible fields are already implemented, implementing invisible fields on IOS is on my tasks list.

+olivierrobin, noyau, mahmadi in case this is also something that needs implementing for autofill.

pinkerton@ As far as I see in code autofill code, detecting of invisible fields is already implemented. I didn't check how it works in Autofill.
