What version of Chrome is this? I just tried downloading an APK, I see the same warning in the console but the APK also downloads. Please provide an example URL or other way for us to reproduce this issue.

This problem I am facing in chrome version(50 and above).May I know why this warning is showing in the console in the latest version. If you check with the older version (below 50) you won't get this warning message.Try to download some enterprise application through any link.

What exact version are you using now? "50 and above" is not specific enough. "Any link" is not specific enough. When I try, it works — see attached screen recording.

I am trying with latest version of chrome. I have uploaded the application in web server and trying to download the app from the latest version of the chrome. I was unsuccessful to download it ,but when I uninstalled all updates from chrome, it became v30.. Then it worked and downloaded all apk’s to device. This seems to me a chrome issue in a latest version.

What do you see in the Network section of developer tools when you try to start the download? Can you provide an example URL? Also, one more question: You reported the os as "OS X 10.12.3", but it's starting to sound like you're describing Chrome on Android. Is the problem happening on a Mac or on an Android phone?

This doesn't sound like a Chrome bug anymore. The website which is being loaded into an iframe sent an "X-Frame-Options: sameorigin" header, which means that other origins/websites aren't allowed to load it in an iframe. The old version of Chrome may not have supported this header. |
